    Summary

    You will serve as a Project Leader Engineer/Architect (E/A) in the Assistant Chief of Staff G-F (FAC), Public Works Department, Architect/Engineer (A/E) Branch of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

    Responsibilities

    • You will lead a team of technical professionals whose efforts will result in the planning, programming, design and construction of both Special Projects (M2/R2) and Military Construction (MILCON) projects on time and within budget.
    • You will work to resolve routine and complex technical issues at the working level through close coordination between Marines/users and co-providers of service within Base organizations and outside agencies.
    • You will be responsible for executing set project schedules and budgets within project and customer requirements.
    • You will coordinate with other team members and specialists to assure schedules, cost estimates and strategies are accurate and executable.
    • You will review and provide comments on submittals for on-going projects in his/her technical specialty to ensure that technical and environmental constraints on project scope and cost are not exceeded or violated.
    • You will coordinate with Public Works Program Managers to ensure constant feedback and coordination for all funding matters, including studies, designs and construction projects.
    • You will provide liaison and coordination between customers, Facilities Maintenance Department, other facilities support agencies at Camp Pendleton.
