    You will serve as a FORCE MARINE NAVIGATOR in the Afloat Training & Readiness Department (N04T) of Military Sealift Command, Norfolk VA.

    • You will provide technical expertise, guidance, and coordination regarding navigation policy to include Electronic Chart Display Information Systems.
    • You will serve as MSC Force Navigator, providing technical expertise, and policy development for MSC, MSC staffs, area commands and afloat commands on operational safety of navigation issues.
    • You will conduct and monitor contractors who conduct Shipboard Navigational Assessments.
    • You will represent MSC, at navigation conferences, navigational working groups and on committees in matters relating to fleet operational readiness.
    • You will prepare and present briefings on various aspects of navigation training and readiness.
    • You will develop and maintain MSC navigation policy, directives, instructions, and correspondence.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position 40%
