    About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Research and Development Center (ERDC), Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory, Office of Technical Directors.

    This announcement is for a Supervisory Interdisciplinary position filled as a Research General Engineer 0801, Research Civil Engineer 0810, Research Civil Engineer (Hydraulics) 0810, Research Naval Architect 0871, Research Architect 0808, Research Physical Scientist 1301, Research Physicist 1310, or Research Oceanographer 1360.

    • Serve as the Technical Director of Military Coastal and Hydraulics Engineering at the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory, U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC).
    • Utilize expert technical knowledge and skills in hydrology, river and estuarine engineering, coastal engineering, and maritime operations to support military operations as well as the overall development of the entire Military Engineering program.
    • Execute keen business skills to manage and direct complex technical programs from planning and marketing to execution and transition to develop Military Coastal and Hydraulics Engineering technologies.
    • Demonstrate a high level of technical and professional competence to continually develop new technology and research exercising the highest level of technical review within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
