The Assistant Nurse Manager/ICU-ARK Clinical Coordinator (ANM/ICU-ARK) is a Registered Nurse located in Patient Care Service, Muskogee, OK. The ANM/ICU-ARK is responsible to the Nurse Manager, the Associate Chief Nurse, and Associate Director Patient Care Services. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the ANM/ICU-ARK is responsible for the overall administrative management of the ICU. Incumbent adheres to established policies, standards of practice and demonstrates leadership when providing nursing care. He/she serves as a role model under the supervision of the Nurse Manager. The ANM/ICU-ARK is a role model in demonstrating excellence in practice, serves as a clinical preceptor for clinical staff. Incumbent is accountable for utilizing critical thinking skills, and sound clinical/supervisory judgment to ensure positive patient outcomes, for demonstrating ethical practice, and for participating in performance improvement activities to improve the quality of care and ensure performance measures are met and or exceeded. The ANM/ICU-ARK serves as the backup Program Manager and clinical lead for the entire VISN. This role coordinates with the VISN 16 ICU-ARK Core Team, ICU Member, and Anesthesia Member during acquisition and interacts directly with the ICU and Anesthesia personnel at the facility level during and after implementation to ensure clinical requirements are identified and realized for the ICU-ARK program. In addition, this role provides problem solving and change management functions related to clinical issues as required.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30am to 4:00pm
