Incumbent serves as a Emergency Response Assistant in the Division of Reactor Safety, responsible for administrative support to the Region II emergency response center for specific incident response and emergency planning and additional provides operator licensing administrative support to Operating Licensing processes. Assists with the implementation and coordination of activities to establish and maintain administrative and logistical support necessary for response to any Region II incident involving licensed nuclear facilities, materials, or transportation. Provides administrative assistance in the review, distribution, and record keeping for operator licensing processes including license renewals, license terminations, and license medial conditions.

The qualifications requirements are as follows:
Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level or equivalent experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform a wide range of licensing and administrative duties such as those described above. Full promotion potential of this position is GG-08. You must meet the qualifications for this position by no later than 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement and before placement in the position.
