    About the Position:

    Army Public Health Center mission is to promote and prevent disease, injury and disability of Soldiers, military retirees, their Families and Department of the Army Civilian Employees; and assure effective execution of full spectrum veterinary services for Army and Department of Defense Veterinary missions.

    • You will serve as a Mechanical Engineer with the Army Public Health Center (USAPHC), responsible for mechanical engineering heating, ventilation, and air conditioning aspects of the facility and laboratories.
    • Provide support to the Branch Chief in operational and strategic level planning, programming, and budget for facility projects.
    • Assist in the preparation of organizational review, analysis data and cost analysis of operations.
    • Implementing policies, performance objectives and procedures for facility management.
    • You will perform on-site inspections, determining user requirements for job order request.
    • You will research and develop new and unique solutions for facility problems.
    • You will advise on the interpretation, application, and implementation of applicable facility engineering and maintenance regulations.
    • Serves as a representative for APHC at meetings and conferences.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
