    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute all engineering and technical functions within the Contract Management Office (CMO) such as engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance.
    • Analyze performance data for trends and evaluates supplier performance to implement lessons learned and improve surveillance, training, and reporting processes. Provides Quality Assurance Engineer on-site surveillance support to CMO QA personnel.
    • Advise and provide direction, planning, and policy execution within the CMO ensuring effective and efficient implementation of new and existing agency engineering and quality assurance policy, training and tools.
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with agency organizations, DoD organizations, standards bodies and educational institutions to advance the state-of-the-art of assigned functional areas across the CMO enterprise.
    • Develop and deploy tools and processes to document and analyze the results of Quality Assurance Engineer surveillance activities.
    • Review Quality Assurance and engineering management systems to ensure contractor compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency.

    Occasional travel - Business Travel is required 5% of the time.
