This position is to acquire, and manage field, laboratory and spatial data to support inventory,assessment, monitoring, restoration, research and management activities in rangelands performed by the rangeland research unit and collaborators.
- Perform field sampling using standardized vegetation and soil methods
- Process soil and vegetation samples in the laboratory
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to implement a multi-dimensional grass restoration/plant recruitment experiment
- Satisfy the vegetation and soil data collection requirement using hard copy data forms, tablet computers and other electronic devices to record data
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
