    The staff nurse of Foundation of Recovery and Mental Health is an experienced and highly skilled Addiction Therapy Service nurse.

    Responsibilities

    Work Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm; 3:30pm - Midnight; Midnight - 8:00am, to include flexibility and may be rotated to meet the needs of the unit.

    The Staff RN practices in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team with direction by the Nurse Manager or Addiction Therapy Service. The position is responsible for completing comprehensive nursing assessments and health screening. The nurse serves as the point person for the medical and psychiatric providers for communicating pertinent clinical findings and ensuring appropriate follow through.

    The major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Utilizes the nursing process and evidence based practice to demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to the management of complex behavioral health patients in the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program.
    • Collaborates with nursing staff, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members responsible for patient care as assigned and may act as the designated Charge Nurse on the unit.
    • Provides care and counseling of persons or in the promotion and maintenance of health and prevention of illness and injury based upon the nursing process.
