    The position is located in the Audit Division (AD) of the Federal Election Commission (FEC). The AD's major responsibilities concern the public funding of presidential campaigns and audits of various political committees. The AD evaluates the presidential primary candidates' applications for matching funds and determines the amount of contributions that may be matched with federal funds.

    This is a non-bargaining position.

    As the Supervisory Auditor in this position, you will:

    • Oversee the receipt and consolidation of the auditee's data from complex databases and accounting systems.
    • Ensure that the consolidated files result in usable databases that are in material agreement with the auditee's bank records.
    • Ensure that all audits follow the processes and timelines within Directive 70 - the FEC Directive on Processing Audit Reports.
    • Manage other staff for audits in addition to managing the staff on the incumbent's team.
    • Prepare and oversee the preparation of reports, audit findings, referrals, and memoranda to Office of General Counsel, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Office and the Reports Analysis Division (Administrative Fines Program).
