    This position is located in the Office of Audit's Compliance and Enforcement Operations unit.  The purpose of this position is to serve as an Auditor in support of the assigned program area(s).

    As a, Auditor, you will:

    - Serve as an auditor for TIGTA to provide expert audit services covering broad departmental programs. Assignments involve extensive problem solving, and planning and coordination of an expenditure of departmental audit resources in a number of geographical locations; and cover a great variety of work processes carried out in a number of organizations.

    - Independently conduct complex managerial and financial audits and special assignments to assess program efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with program laws, regulations and other provisions.

    - Conduct valid and reliable research to analyze internal and external information to assess risk factors and identify high-risk areas. Independently identify, develop, and quantify audit outcomes for findings and recommendations that result in cost savings, program improvements, or revenue enhancement.

    - Evaluate complex systems, controls and information, and provide sufficient, competent and reliable evidence to support audit issues on integrity situations. Ensure all elements of findings are developed and provides appropriate recommendations.

    Travel Required

    50% or less - 6-10 nights per month
