Primary responsibilities are to serve as an Investigative Analyst for the Office of Investigations (AXl), Technical Investigations Division (AXl-300), Insider Threat Detection and Mitigation Program (ITDMP/AXl-320). He/she works under the supervision of the ITDMP Manager while independently performs tasks and assignments related to Insider Threat with minimal technical supervision or oversight. Resolves most problems independently, but consults with the Manager when existing guidelines are not available or applicable to unusual or complex situations. Supports the implementation of the Insider Threat Detection Mitigation Program (ITDMP) and execution of all Insider Threat policies. Applies experience and advanced technical knowledge of investigations to include collecting, analyzing, correlating, interpreting, and evaluating data related to Insider Threat activities. Typical duties include:

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level. SPECIALIZED experience is experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must be at least equivalent to the next lower grade or band level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. To qualify for the FV-I, all applicants must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H, FG/GS/12 grade level. Specialized experience may include but not limited to: Experience working in or with an Insider Threat Hub, supporting a wide variety of matters of extreme sensitivity, scope, and complexity; evaluating allegations and analyzing evidence; utilizing technical tools and platforms for analysis; preparing analysis reports and making recommendations.
