    Summary

    You will serve as the Distinguished Engineer/Scientist for Machinery Controls Cyber Security in the Office of the Deputy Technical Director of Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD).

    Responsibilities

    • You will serve as the Division's technical lead and focal point for the NSWCPD Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Control Systems Cyber Security plans, technical direction, scope and goals, and objectives.
    • You will ensure commonality, consistency and applicability of relevant policies and processes regarding the implementation of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Control Systems Cyber Security requirements.
    • You will manage the technical analysis and design of cyber-related offense and defense capabilities; situational awareness; command and control; mission and information assurance; homeland defense; and infrastructure protection.
    • You will oversee a variety of research and development activities at NSWCPD, including leading the planning and concept definition/formulation for cyber technology initiatives.
    • You will direct NSWCPD's engagement in research and development of technologies and the prototyping of cyber solutions.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
