    The incumbent is responsible for providing a variety of direct support services such as assisting with administrative internal controls and audits, space management, and facilitating office moves and various programs. Works under the direction of the Facilities, Acquisitions and Support Services Supervisor.

    Typical work assignments will include:
    -Acts as liaison with General Services Administration (GSA) personnel, building engineers, janitorial services and contractors on all facilities' requirements for the District, including the Branch Offices.

    -Assists with excessing and disposing of damaged or surplus property and supplies in accordance with regulatory requirements and procedures.

    -Serves as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) with the responsibility for administering assigned contracts.

    -Ensure mandatory training requirements are met in a timely manner and certification is obtained.

    -Procures USAO administrative services, supplies and equipment, e.g., furniture, office supplies, and office equipment.

    -Assists with a wide variety of administrative and support services such as mail operations, Reception operations, key control, security escort, and government vehicle fleet management.

    -Inspects deliveries to ensure shipments are accurate and supplies are not damaged. Returns items to the vendor for replacement or refund in a timely manner if determined that the item was not ordered or was damaged in shipment.

    Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
