    About the Position: This position will serve as a Computer Scientist with the Capabilities Development Integration Directorate (CDID), Army Futures Command located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

    • Use agile software development methodologies to design, develop, and maintain selected portions of Air Defense Artillery (ADA) and Field Artillery (FA) simulations that accurately represent major systems critical to conduct ADA and FA operations.
    • Applies state-of-the-art Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) and/or High Level Architecture (HLA) technologies to Air Defense Artillery and Field Artillery simulation designs.
    • Demonstrates detailed knowledge of and experience with large scale digital simulations, digital computers, operating systems, high-level programming languages, tactical data system software, and/or networks and network protocols.
    • Produces clear, concise software documentation to achieve complete history of simulation developments.
    • Provides accurate assessments, both written and oral, of in-house artillery simulation capabilities and limitations within area of expertise.

    50% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
