At the entry level of this position, you will:
- Evaluate and assess the validity of data from microorganisms, laboratory animals, and other study types to identify possible adverse effects to animals and/or humans;
- Attend and participate in meetings with other organizations to prepare recommendations and/or advice for the Division;
- Assist with the preparation of reports that provide recommendations concerning either the registration and/or testing of pesticides;
- Keep up-to-date with current research by establishing and maintaining professional relationships within the scientific and academic communities.
When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
