    About the Position: Serve as the Director of the U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone (ACC-RSA) Mission Support Directorate. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating of assigned functions through assigned subordinate supervisors.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as Director of ACC-RSA Mission Support.
    • Serve as advisor to Executive Director/Principal Assistant regarding pricing, source selection, competition management, contract administration oversight, property administration, procurement, contract policy and procedures and contract compliance.
    • Plan, direct, and coordinate assigned functions through subordinate Supervisors.
    • Initiates, leads, and conducts complex projects, programs or studies crossing multiple functional disciplines.
    • Define, integrate, and implement strategic direction of vital programs with long-term impact on large numbers of people.
    • Formulate organization strategies, tactics, and budget/action plan to acquire and allocate resources.
    • Plan/establish goals for ACC-RSA command.
    • Direct accomplishment by making adjustments, modifications, and revisions to meet objectives.
    • Review accomplishments for technical adequacy, progress, consistency, and compliance with policies, procedures, directives, etc.
    • Liaison with general officers and senior military personnel, senior service executive and senior managers, executive and senior level contract personnel and other agency senior staff.
    • Present briefings to convey strategic vision or organizational policies.

    25% or less - Business travel may be required up to 25%.
