    As a Supervisory Management and Program Analysis Officer, you will perform the following duties:

    • Develop and implement policies for oversight and coordination of university based Sea Grant Institutional Programs.
    • Formulate program annual budgets; and establish long range work plans, goals, objectives and personnel requirements.
    • Manage the engagement of state-based research, education, and outreach programs with NOAA programs and offices and establish procedures for the Sea Grant network to build and facilitate communications between the program and its stakeholders.
    • Conduct evaluations and provide advice on program and operations effectiveness, and management efficiency and productivity.
    • Provide supervision to Sea Grant Program Officers and university personnel on extended assignment to the National Sea Grant Office, write performance plans and evaluations, and provide appraisal feedback.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Up to 15% domestic travel may be required for this position. May be expected to travel at least 2 to 6 trips a year, each of 2-7 day duration, outside duty location, including weekends and long days.
