    Summary

    This position is a Program staff position assigned to the Assistant State Conservationist for Programs, located at the in the State Conservationist's Office, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) State Office, in Warwick, Rhode Island.

    The incumbent is responsible for providing support for all Conservation Programs in
    Rhode Island and is the primary Program Manager for one or more Financial Assistance Programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Functions as the primary Program Manager for one or more NRCS Easement and/or Financial Assistance programs.
    • Provides input for budget discussions to ASTC-Programs and the State Office management team on program utilization and opportunities.
    • Develops and delivers outreach activities designed to increase the use and adoption of NRCS Financial Assistance programs.
    • Provides direct assistance and training to field office staff in all aspects of NRCS Financial Assistance programs and any new programs as they are made available.
