    About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Light Tactical Vehicles PSID, Light Tactical Vehicles Group, Combat Service Support (CS&CSS) Readiness and Sustainment (R&S) Directorate.

    This position is not to exceed 13 months but may be extended up to a maximum of 8 years, and may be made permanent without further competition.

    • Apply Army Maintenance policies and procedures during the development and execution of Interactive Electronic Technical Maintenance Verifications, installation instructions, and other technical manuals.
    • Utilize logistics databases (such as Logistics Modernization Program {LMP}, Powerlog-J, COMPASS) to determine maintenance trends and input provisioning data, updates, and data extraction for assigned weapon system.
    • Review engineering change proposals, production waivers and deviations and furnishes position based upon maintenance implications.
    • Resolve field inquiries and issues which require field studies, technical research, and investigation of materiel deficiencies and malfunctions.
    • Prepare maintenance repair scope of works (SOWs) and National Maintenance Work Requirements (NMWRs) for government/contractor facilities to inspect, test, service, repair, rebuild, overhaul and/or upgrade weapon systems.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 20% of the time for this position.
