    Responsibilities

    This position is located in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Patent Quality.  As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:

    • Serve as an expert in the process improvement function and will be tasked with solving significant issues complicated by interfaces and inter-relationships between and among program systems, functions, policies, within and across business units.
    • Develop and implement process and organizational excellence management policies, tools, and initiatives that promote effective and continuous process improvement initiatives to improve the overall performance of the organization.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of Patent programs by implementing proactive, systematic and standardized program reviews through the application of proven Lean Six Sigma quality improvement methodologies. 
    • Conduct directed and routine quality process reviews to evaluate process and program performance against internal criteria, established procedures and industry best practices, to include Malcolm Baldridge Performance Excellence framework.
