    The Principal Inspector (Avionics) Part 121 will function as the primary airworthiness interface between assigned air carriers/air operators/air agencies/airmen/designees and the Federal Aviation Administration. Has program responsibility to ensure assigned organizations meet Federal Aviation Regulations with respect to maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration programs. Determines the need for, and then establishes work programs for surveillance and inspection of assigned organizations within manpower and budget limitations to ensure adherence to the applicable regulations.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis. The travel may be for training or other work-related duties.
