    The primary responsibility of this position is to plan, develop, monitor and execute actions, and provide accurate and reliable advice and services on a wide range of administrative functions.

    Responsibilities

    You will collect and analyze data/information, conduct research, apply policies and procedures, identify problems and collaborate with others on day-to-day operations regarding administrative functions. Manage and maintain automated systems for tracking obligations and expenditures of funds throughout the execution phase of the annual operating budget. Prepare and advise managers on the preparation of budget estimates, justification statements and budget execution plans. You will collaborate with supervisors, managers, regional specialists and human resource specialists regarding personnel requests/actions and employee recognition programs. Maintain reports on personnel statistics such as manpower programs, personnel ceiling, promotions, average and high grade or pay band level statistics. Evaluate and manage equipment needs such as copiers, faxes, printers, computers and other office items. Initiate or review procurement requests for equipment and other items needed. Ensures internal control of property by conducting property inventories periodically. Provides guidance to office staff on preparation of travel authorizations, vouchers and travel regulations. Prepares travel orders including cost estimates for training assignments and permanent change of station. Reviews travel authorizations and vouchers for administrative and procedural compliance including proper cost accounting codes and statistical accuracy.
