The Information Technology Project Manager (ITPM) works within the Office of the Chief Digital Officer to deliver products that support the work of our journalists. The ITPM is also an IT Product Manager guiding the success of products and leading a cross-functional team responsible for improving the product and is responsible for developing roadmaps, and working with offices/divisions across the Voice of America (VOA) and the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM).Learn more about this agency
Duties include, but are not limited to:-Develops and maintains IT project plans and associated communication documents.-Defines and documents project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.-Effectively communicates IT project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Continually manage IT project expectations.-Develops and delivers IT progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.-Sets IT product vision and strategy and ensure products are operating in a secure technical environment.-Develops IT roadmaps, prioritizes product features, and define requirements for features.-Creates and plans the IT product delivery process and coordinating activities required to bring the deliver the product.-Adheres to DevOps, Agile, Lean, and user-centric approaches for the development and deployment of solutions.
