    This position is located in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR),  National Sea Grant College Programs with 1 vacancy in Silver Spring, MD, Pensacola, FL, Baton Rouge, LA, Ocean Springs, MS or Mobile, AL.

    Responsibilities

    As a Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties:

    • Manage all aspects of the Sea Grant Legal Program including grants administration, approval of strategic plans and program evaluation.
    • Advise Senior Leadership and coordinate new or modified administrative/program policies, regulations or objectives to achieve effective operations.
    • Assess program information requirements to influence mission and administrative reporting systems including program requirements, data gathering and analytical techniques, data evaluation and reporting methodology.
    • Act as a liaison between the federal government and the assigned Sea Grant programs and regions.
    • Responsible for the development and evaluation of Sea Grant’s Gulf of Mexico program portfolio including strategic planning and examining the impacts and accomplishments of all underlying grants and portfolio of projects and evaluating the overall program to ensure it meets all goals and objectives.

    Note: These duties are described at the full performance level of the ZA-4, the ZA-3 is developmental leading to such performance.

    25% or less - Up to 20% domestic travel may be required for this position.
