    The major duties of the position are:

    • -Oversees the operation of information technology systems and networks, end- user devices and software in order to assess and ensure system performance of infrastructure services.
    • -Develops short and long-range infrastructure services management strategic plans in alignment with office and agency strategic plans.
    • -Develops and oversees effective operational measures to enhance configuration management flexibility to adjust to changing needs and priorities of the agency.
    • -Oversees the acquisition, development, and implementation of IT solutions, managing the agency's enterprise-wide infrastructure services portfolio.
    • -Develops program procedures and methods to review market trends for technology innovations associated with IT infrastructure programs and IT service delivery.
    • -Performs advanced market research, develops cost estimates, and performs cost / benefits analyses for new COTS hardware and software.
    • -Establishes and oversees the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and traceability of the agency's infrastructure services portfolio.
    • -Develops and administers Service Level Agreements (SLA's) for infrastructure services.
    • -Provides technical and administrative supervision and direction to a subordinate staff of full performance level and senior IT specialists. Plans work to be performed by team members, sets and adjust short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for the completion of work.
