    This position is located in the Office of the Chairman, Office of Public Affairs, National Endowment for the Arts. You will reports to the Director of Public Affairs and provide administrative and program assistance in support of projects, activities and operations of the Office. The primary responsibilities of this position are related to public affairs and media relations work, and include:

    -Researching, drafting, reviewing and editing content for a variety of agency communications vehicles;
    -Preparing daily news clips;
    -Provide general office and administrative assistance to the Director and other members of the Office of Public Affairs;
    -Answer the main phone line for the agency.
    -Research topics, and draft content for an internal newsletter and other communications vehicles for both internal and external audiences.
    -Serve on ad hoc teams convened to provide quick responses to special projects and studies which may cut across organizational lines, clusters, disciplines and functions.
