    About the Position: Serves as the Broadening Opportunity Program (BOP) Manager, managing and monitoring scholarship and fellowship programs for Active and Reserve Component Officers. It is located at Human Resource Command (HRC), Officer Personnel Management Directorate (OPMD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

    Responsibilities

    • Solicit participation from officers world-wide and serves as final approval of nominations.
    • Announce, manage and monitor scholarship, fellowship and Training with Industry (TWI) programs for Active and Reserve Component officer participation.
    • Provide program guidance to 30+ Army branch and functional area proponents, including Army Medical Department and the Judge Advocate General.
    • Maintain regular contact with all program sponsors, which includes governmental and non-governmental organizations.
    • Routinely interfaces with senior Army Staff and senior non-government organization personnel.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
