    • Manages a staff of economists who prepare economic analyses associated with immigration regulations.
    • Serves as an expert advisor and technical authority on regulatory economics and complex and precedent setting economic policy and program issues, develops policies, strategies, and plans for economics, and economic development, programs/projects for agency-wide application.
    • Provides specialized expertise to ICE program offices and directorates.
    • Participates in the development of strategies, plans, program guidance, and dissemination of research results for Agency-wide application and incorporation into economic programs.
    • Contributes to formulating Agency positions on research issues, for presentation to Congress, representatives of universities, foundations, and task forces.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
