    This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.

    • Takes action and makes decisions in solving highly complex technical, administrative, and economic problems involved in the entire range of design and analysis activities required to achieve the desired result.
    • Serves as an expert consultant in a specialty field with responsibility for developing standard methods and procedures to be used throughout the headquarters and field.
    • Conducts special planning studies to discover, create and synthesize new approaches to the problems of establishing adequate research and development programs.
    • Conducts test and evaluations of systems and coordinates technical planning in installation activities by relating future program plans to projected requirements, available resources, and scientific discoveries.
