    The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule Grades equivalent to GS-14 to GS-15. Other initiative under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as Director, Integrated Cost Analysis Teams (ICAT) at a Contract Management Office (CMO), interacting the other CMO managers and supervisors as well as with contractor officials relating to pricing major systems contracts.
    • Responsible for planning, managing, supervising, leading employees providing pricing/technical assessment, in-depth analyses, and negotiation recommendations within a resident Contract Management Office overseeing Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
    • Interacts with other CMO managers and supervisors as well as with contractor officials to identify, coordinate and resolve issues crossing organizational lines
    • Monitors negotiations with the contractor involving rates and settlement of prices for unpriced orders under basic ordering agreements.
    • Provides overall leadership to the team; performs all the supervisory responsibilities throughout subordinate team leaders and serves as part of a team of managers representing all major acquisition functions.
