They are responsible for patching clients, building the client image(s), managing all aspects of Group Policies and scripts, implementing client baseline configurations, packaging applications that require changes to the client, testing changes to clients, and managing the client portion of the Pre-Production Environment as well as Mobility projects relating to day to day operations.
As the Mobility Product Manager in the AIT Infrastructure & Operations Service, you will report to the Manager of the Client Integration & Testing Branch and will plan, coordinate and collaborate with selected vendors supporting mobility as well as other Mobility Team members to provide and support a product agency wide. This position will be responsible for developing and participating in overall mobile device product strategy and roadmap, research and development strategy, and work closely with mobility team members and leadership to ensure a positive customer experience. You will provide technical expertise to support staff, stakeholders and leadership as well as responsibility for maintaining existing products, product developments and upgrades, and new product or service implementation as required.
In addition, this position will need to collaborate and effectively communicate with other Branches within AIF, other Directorates within AIT, and outside Stakeholders to achieve optimum results in implementing and improving product offerings. This will include performing research into vendor and business best practice, analysis of risk and impact of proposed changes and the overall performance and delivery of a mobility product to stakeholders. This position will also help further define governance and develop lifecycle management methodology as directed by management using vendor best practice and trends in industry.

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-10/11/12 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Specialized experience may include but not limited to: Experience providing guidance to a team responsible for ensuring Mobility Device Management (MDM) administration within an enterprise environment, utilizing VMWare, Microsoft and Apple products and services as well as application planning, development and deployment with COTS and internally developed applications within a mixed managed/unmanaged environment.
