    Responsibilities

    Incumbent serves as the Front Line Manager at the Los Angeles International Field Office, shares in the planning and administering of the office programs to promote safety in all aviation activities. Has responsibility for the program within the assigned areas and for the performance of inspections, surveillance and certification or other assignments on air carriers/air operators/air agencies/airmen/designees operating under the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR). Has program responsibility to assure that assigned organizations meet Federal Aviation Regulations. Identifies and establishes work programs for inspection and surveillance within manpower and budge limitations.
