This position is located in the Administrative Division of the D.C. Court of Appeals (DCCA). The Administrative Division is responsible for the planning, development and management of the information technology systems and subsystems that support case flow, office automation, special programs and management operations for DCCA. The incumbent will serve as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist providing network configuration and management support to DCCA users.
The Grade 13 incumbent will perform work that consists of creating, reviewing, migrating, testing, and implementing existing and new systems in the Cloud or on-premises that supports the DCCA's mission critical business.

ENTRY LEVEL (GRADE 12): Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field plus four (4) years of related IT experience; or Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field plus six (6) years of related IT experience; or a high school diploma/GED plus eight (8) years of solid work experience in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related IT experience.
Knowledge of network standards, protocols, and procedures including local area and wide area networking and bandwidth management.
Experience with cloud systems design, development, installation, management and maintenance preferred.
Industry recognized certifications such as Cisco CCNA or Microsoft MCSE preferred.
FULL-PERFORMANCE LEVEL (GRADE 13): The above listed knowledge, skills and abilities plus: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related IT field plus five (5) years of related IT experience with at least one (1) year of Cloud experience; or Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field plus seven (7) years of related IT experience with at least two (2) years of Cloud experience; or a high school diploma/GED plus nine (9) years of solid work experience in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT experience with at least two (2) years of Cloud experience.
