    The position is located in the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Governance and Portfolio Management Staff, in Hyattsville, MD. The mission of the Governance and Portfolio Management Staff is to manage the Information Resources Management (IRM) program.

    Responsibilities

    As a Program Analyst (Governance), you will:

    • Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a clear, integrated, and transparent governance process with built in control mechanisms to ensure value added to Bureau decision-making and resulting performance.
    • Provide review of proposed IT business solutions to assure conformance to the Bureau of the Fiscal Service IT short and long-term strategic goals, ensuring these investments are meeting the goals and are on track.
    • Support governance activities to include Pre-Select, Select, Control, and Evaluate Phases. Provide independent review and complex analysis of Business Cases and Investment Artifacts to ensure investments meet strategic, cost, scope, schedule and results.
    • Gather data using a variety of techniques and statistical methodologies and perform analyses of information to determine problem areas, potential problems, and provides recommended solutions.
