About the Position:
ATEC is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Acquisition Workforce Demonstration Project. Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The pay band NH-03 is equal to the former GS-12 step 01 through GS-13 step 10. Therefore, the control point will be set no higher $99,691 (base salary) and $128,920 with locality.

Serve as an expert advisor to ensure performance management goals are consistently met in an effective and efficient manner with responsibility for providing technical advice and assistance to officials at all levels as it relates to the mission, command programs, command-wide policies. Plans and carries out projects and studies to identify and resolve problems pertaining to various Human Resources program areas. Develops guidance, procedures and standards for new and/or changing program areas. Analyzes and evaluates program execution of elements; recognizes problem areas; and originates solutions to complex and unusual issues. Researches Human Resources laws, policies, regulations and reference material, analyzes information, selects appropriate approach and recommends action designed to resolve unique and/or recurring command-wide issues, concerns and problems.
Continually analyzes and evaluates the command's progress in meeting program and operational goals. Applies an integrated approach to the monitoring, analyzing, and assessing of the full range of complex, diverse command personnel management program issues; keeping up-to-date with new developments and emerging ideas in dynamic program areas.
Independently develops new command-wide programs, procedures, and requirements. Determines need for, develops and presents commandwide
training, briefings and models for specific applications in assigned program areas.
