    Responsibilities

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Serves as Management and Program Analyst within the Workforce Transformation Division, AHA-300 performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager or more experienced professional. May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or for large projects/programs.

    Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge in order to plan and conduct functional activities for Employee Engagement projects / programs. Assignments frequently require knowledge and experience working across functional and/or organizational lines. Leads and serves as an active participant on cross-agency and internal AHR cross-functional project teams. Prepares documents, charts, reports, issue papers and briefing materials to support data-driven decisions. Collects, analyzes and communicates data results for surveys, and assessments to improve decision-making and program effectiveness. Tracks program deliverables and milestones in a timely manner in accordance with records management requirements. Designs analyses to report on key metrics and trends to proactively identify opportunities to drive change, build recommendations and influence decisions made by senior executives FAA wide.

    Independently plans time. Identifies, plans, and organizes available resources to accomplish projects/programs/activities. Makes optimal use of resources to complete activities within established schedules. Leads and participates in mult i-disciplinary innovation, process improvement, automation and change management projects, studies and analyses, developing recommendations to address current and anticipated issues and tracking milestones.

    Contacts are internal and external. May act as a point of contact to provide advice and guidance on the applications of policies and procedures. May be called upon to communicate FAA positions on policies and procedures internally and externally. Serves as Employee Engagement Advisor to FAA Lines of Business/Staff Offices, to facilitate a better understand of their FedView Survey results and to identify opportunities or actions to strengthen employee engagement and help make their organization a better place to work.

    Established policies/procedures provide guidance for most assignments, but allow considerable discretion for employee to select the most appropriate approaches or develop new approaches. Assignments regularly require interpretations of internal and external policies and extrapolations from precedents. Identifies employee engagement best practices by consulting with high performing agencies and other applicable sources to contribute to FAA FedView Community of Practice and/or in consultations with lines of business. Creates and/or contributes to the development of briefing presentations on FedView results/ trends/ indices that facilitate understanding and support organizational workforce improvement actions.

    Resolve most problems and work issues without the assistance of a manager or more experienced professional. Analyzes and interprets human capital data/trends to update/develop reports, issue papers, and briefing materials to help inform/support various workforce initiatives. Actively participates in the FAA FedView Community of Practice as an Employee Engagement Advisor to designated Lines of Business and Staff Offices. Conducts benchmarking research studies and develops recommendations for AHA and AHR leadership

    Effectively collaborates to develop targeted, data-driven businesses strategic objectives with Line of Business a Staff Office senior management to drive action planning and employee engagement accountability. Supports FAA FedView team in planning and executing Employee Engagement initiative sand events. Represents AHA-300, AHA and AHR in formal briefings with Line of Business and Staff Office Executives and Senior leaders. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis. The travel may be for training or other work-related duties.
