Serves as the Chief, Network Operations and System Administration Section for the Trust Fund Branch.
Administers all Trust Fund IT initiatives pursuant to the following three required division of duties: System Administration; Network Services and System/Network Security.
Administers the planning and scheduling the installation of new or modified hardware and operating systems and applications software.
Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
Analyze and define all Trust Fund system network requirements and define and maintain all network architecture and infrastructure.
Develops policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements.
Basic Requirements:
Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at this grade level.
OR
Experience: You must have Information Technology (IT) related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
AND
Specialized Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower GS-grade (or equivalent). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT.
Some examples of this qualifying experience are:

The representative rate for this position is $128,911 per annum ($61.77 per hour).
Special Conditions of Employment Section:
Initial appointment to a supervisory/managerial position requires a one-year probationary period.
The incumbent is subject to geographic relocation to meet the needs of the agency.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of a urinalysis, physical, and background investigation. All applicants are subject to National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and credit checks.
