    About the Position: This position is within the Planning Division which is the water resources planning program of the District, which covers major river systems, shorelines, and harbors.

    • Conducts water and related land resources studies.
    • Provides technical leadership to Project Delivery Teams (PDTs).
    • Establishes, monitors and adjusts the study plan as necessary to respond to the study authority for feasibility.
    • Formulates alternatives which address the sometimes conflicting objectives of national economic development, environmental quality, social well being, and regional development.
    • Directs preparation of related data, exhibits and graphic and supplemental materials and makes presentations at milestone and other conferences and meetings.
    • Determines data to be collected, field investigation scopes, estimated time required to complete the investigations, study cost, engineering, environmental, social and cultural scopes.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
