    • Serves as a specialist in genetic evaluation of dairy cattle.
    • Assists research scientists with analysis of traits related to dairy production, genetic improvement, and genomics and with application of research results.
    • Assists research scientists to conduct, report, and implement their research projects.
    • Keeps current with scientific and genetic advancements by reading literature, reviewing articles, and attending supervisor-approved meetings, workshops, and conferences.
    • Derives, computes, and delivers genetic evaluation methodology to expand national data files composed of lactation records, genotypes, whole-genome sequence information, and trait records from dairy herds.
