    About the Position: This position is located in the Munitions Engineering Technology Center. The Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (CCDC, AC) is the Army's Center of Lethality, and provides more than 90 percent of the Army's lethality to soldiers. CCDC, AC mission includes: improving already fielded items, developing new items, maintaining a strong armament technology base in government, industry and academia and providing technical support to Soldiers in the field.

    • Serve as engineering specialist to advise a group of engineering and technical personnel engaged in the design and development of grenade and demolition components.
    • Serve as an advisor on the design and engineering aspects to assist government officials and commercial representatives.
    • Coordinate the technical plans of a group of engineers and technicians engaged in research and development.
    • Direct activities of a group of engineers and technicians by coordinating work for subordinate project engineers and technicians in accordance with project objectives.
    • Integrate all phases of project assignments related to grenade and demolition components, such as feasibility analysis, design and prototype development, test and evaluation, and technical control.
