    Responsibilities

     As a General Engineer/Physical Scientist, you will:

    • Serve as a technical advisor for All-Hazards Technical Planning Basis, consequence assessment, and protective actions;
    • Provide technical expertise in the revision and development of policy, technical standards, and technical planning basis associated with all hazards;
    • Conduct and participate in emergency program assessments and technical planning basis reviews, studies, and analysis;
    • Serve as a senior, professional engineer and/or physical scientist utilizing expert level knowledge in Emergency Management;
    • Propose innovative solutions to complex Emergency Management  problems and issues related to radioactive and non-radioactive hazardous materials.

    Occasional travel - Occasional travel is required for this position.
