    Serves as a Computer Engineer in the Cognitive Signal Processing Branch, responsible for designing, developing, installing, testing, or evaluating data handling and computing systems for aerospace, aeronautical, space science and/or earth science vehicles, spacecraft or instruments, their support equipment or experiment systems (involving both the hardware and software) and data systems for acquiring, reducing, and computing data to meet end-to-end data systems needs.

    • Designs or directs the development of signal processing waveforms, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technology applications involving state-of-the-art development tools to meet specific mission requirements.
    • Performs algorithm development, data acquisition, and computation towards the selection of cognitive algorithms for aerospace applications.
    • Reviews, advises, and conducts complex analysis and development studies. Conducts experimental studies resulting in new designs impacting program or mission capabilities. Analyzes requirements and design criteria for feasibility.
    • Prepares and presents technical and status briefings.
