Under the guidance and supervision of the Assistant Inspector General for Management and Evaluation (AIGME), the Operations Specialist (OS) is responsible for providing contracting, operational, management and analytical support for the Office of Inspector General (OIG). The OS provides support with acquisition planning, procurement and contracting, strategic and operational planning and OIG intranet content management. The OS also assists with general office and human resources administration.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical/Specialized Skills:
Related undergraduate degree (e.g., business administration, management studies) and two plus years of work experience including progressive responsibilities. Experience with business, contract, and budget administration, as well as information management projects. Knowledge of project management principles and practices. Ability to facilitate, coordinate, and execute cross-unit projects in support of program objectives. Ability to perform research, compile data, and assimilate information to present to higher-level management. Skill in delivering superior customer service.
