    Responsibilities

    • Directs the activities of the Branch and personally performs the most complex engineering and planning assignments. Develops and maintains a comprehensive real property master plan for all USAG-J installations.
    • Develops and coordinates the USAG-J's major construction programs to include developing the 5-year FIP, MCA, AFH, and NAF programs to implement the master plan.
    • Prepares and evaluates justification and documentation for all major construction program (MCA, AFH, NAF, FIP, and DPRI) submissions prior to transmittal to higher headquarters and Congress for approval and appropriation.
    • Prepares special studies, reports, and analyses concerning planning and programming issues.
    • Assigns work to subordinates based upon priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of the assignments, and capabilities and position of employees.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - The business travel requirement is 20%.
