This is a non-reimbursable detail assignment and it cannot exceed 180 days in a fiscal year. If selected, a MOU must be signed by your current agency and EOP. Your supervisor and current agency must concur with the detail. The detail will not result in a promotion or a permanent position.
The incumbent will advise management on personnel security policies and review, evaluate, and adjudicate reports of investigation, personnel files, and other records to determine whether to grant, deny, revoke, suspend, or restrict security clearances consistent with national security and/or suitability issues.

- This is not a Permanent Full-Time Position. This is a Detail Not-To-Exceed 180 days in a fiscal year and is non-reimbursable.
- The detail cannot result in a promotion and you must currently hold the grade level or comparable pay band at time of application and appointment.
- If selected your management and HR must concur with the non-reimbursable detail. A MOU will be signed with both agencies.
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must meet the qualification requirements outlined below to be considered minimally qualified for this position. The qualification requirements are in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standards.
GRADE REQUIREMENT: This is NOT a promotion. Applicant MUST currently be at the grade level advertised.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the next lower grade or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector.
For the GS-11:
Applicant must currently hold a GS-11 grade level or comparable pay band in the Federal Service advising management on personnel security policies and reviewing, evaluating, and adjudicating reports of investigation, personnel files, and other records to determine whether to grant, deny, revoke, suspend, or restrict security clearances consistent with national security and/or suitability issues.
For the GS-12:
Applicant must currently hold a GS-12 grade level or comparable pay band in the Federal Service advising management on personnel security policies and reviewing, evaluating, and adjudicating reports of investigation, personnel files, and other records to determine whether to grant, deny, revoke, suspend, or restrict security clearances consistent with national security and/or suitability issues.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
