    ATTENTION ALL APPLICANTS:  This position is located in the U.S. Census Bureau's Regional Census Center (RCC) in Philadelphia, PA.

    In order to be considered, ALL APPLICANTS MUST RESIDE within the Philadelphia, PA local commuting area.

    Relocation will NOT be paid.

    Responsibilities

    The individual selected for this position will:

    1. Direct, coordinate, and manage all administrative activities for the Regional Census Centers (RCC), including coordinating personnel management activities; time and attendance reporting; oversee personal property management; procure supplies, equipment, and services security; safety; record and file maintenance; travel; space management; and other administrative services necessary for the efficient operation of the RCC.
    2. Supervise a subordinate staff performing personnel, payroll, space, voice communications, and general administrative work.
    3. Delegate work to subordinates based on the difficulty of the assignments and each employee's capabilities.
    4. Serve as a member of the Regional Census Center management team, providing analytical, planning, and evaluative reports on internal activities or functions such as human resources, fiscal management, travel, space administration, etc.
