    - Serves as a Fish and Wildlife Service Administrator for Ecological Service program with region-wide managerial, leadership, and advocacy responsibility and accountability for programs, issues and policies relative to the protection of fish and wildlife resources.

    - Responsible for the achievement of goals and objectives carried out by Regional Office staff and project leaders to implement programs including Habitat Conservation; Partners for Fish and Wildlife and Coastal; Natural Resources Damage Assessment; Endangered Species Recovery, Listing and Delisting, and Consultation.

    - Develop and implement long- and short-range plans, objectives, and priorities for ensuring adherence to the laws and policies which govern the management of the Service.

    - Perform a full range of supervisory/managerial duties and responsibilities, including negotiating and executing programmatic budgets

    - Provides expert advice to the Regional Director and other Service officials, and participate with top-level regional and national managers in interpreting and implementing legislation and legal decisions.

    50% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
