As a Sustainability Program Specialist, you will work with project teams and property managers to achieve high performance green buildings and promotes sustainable practices.

The GS-9 salary range starts at $59,173 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify for the GS-9, you must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level GS-7 or equivalent in the Federal government.
Specialized experience is assisting with the application of sustainability practices in projects and operations pertaining to property management of government owned and leased buildings. This experience must demonstrate knowledge of project management principles to accomplish sustainability related programs and initiatives.
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or
LL.B or J.D., if related
