National Science Foundation is seeking an Student Trainee (Administrative Support Assistant). Specific duties include the following:
- Receives visitors and screens phone calls.
- Sorts and distributes mail.
- Receives, controls, and tracks all correspondence and documents.
- Serves as a liaison with other NSF organizations when setting schedules, coordinating activities, and obtaining and providing information.

A combination of education and experience can also be used to qualify for the GS-7.

How You Will Be Evaluated
You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
Applicant qualifications will be assessed based on the level of completed education and relevant work experience at the closing date of the announcement. Category rating procedures will be used to rank and select eligibles. Based on your responses to the occupational questionnaire, you will be assigned a score.
